Sunday afternoon I was perusing the paper and stumbled across a photo from 1905. I just had to share what Linz looked like 100 years ago. You can see the sign reading Haltestelle. This is where the tram stops today and is still known as the Taubenmarkt stop. Below is a picture taken looking the same direction on Landstrasse. In some ways many things have changed and in others it's very much the same. I bet the people above never imagined there would be a McDonald's on that corner!
